The bachelor's thesis addresses the development of business activities of a company that provides sport fishing and operates a restaurant that serves as a background for fishermen. The theoretical basis is based on analyzes of the external environment, internal environment and analysis of the field environment. The results of the analyzes will be summarized in a SWOT analysis. All analyzes will help determine the company's position in the market and recommend proposals for the development of further business activities.

1 Hunting and fishing in the light of selected environmental issues Abstract The diploma thesis focuses on the hunting and fishing in the light of selected environmental issues. Both hunting and fishing are activities that may serve as freetime activities, but their main purpose is nature conservation and as such should respond to the changes in nature brought about by climate change. The aim of this diploma thesis is to provide the reader with a basic insight into the legal regulation of hunting and fishing and to assess the current legal regulation in terms of preparedness for the changes in nature brought about by ongoing climate change. The second objective is pursued by answering three questions: "Does the Czech legislation sufficiently care about biodiversity conservation?", "Does the Czech legislation effectively combat invasive and non-native species?" and "Is Czech legislation prepared for the changes in animal behaviour that will inevitably occur in the context of climate change?". History of the Secondary Fishing School in Vodňany from its founding to the present

The thesis deals with the history of the Secondary Fishing School in Vodňany from its foundation in 1920 to the present day. The first chapter is devoted to the development of the fishery, the need to establish a fishing school, the period of the First World War and the subsequent opening of the school. The second chapter focuses on the period of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, dealing with the Nazi occupation and the damage the occupation caused. This is followed by a chapter dealing with the end of the Second World War, changes in the curriculum and the building of facilities. The fourth chapter deals with the period from 1951 to the Velvet Revolution, the process of adding schools and contact with fishermen from abroad. The fifth chapter looks at the development, changes and events of the school up to the present day.

Analysis of ichtyofauna of the Czech Republic focused on alien species

This thesis analyzes the ichthyofauna in Czech Republic in historical terms, i.e. how was the data on the occurrence of native species of fishes and lampreys collected. Particular attention is given to species alien to this territory - the following species are elaborated in more detail: Carassius auratus, Ameiurus nebulosus, Pseudorasbora parva, Ctenopharyngodon idella, Hypophthalmichthys molitrix, Aristichthys nobilis, Gasterosteus aculeatus, Coregonus maraena,Coregonus peled, Acipeneser baerii, Acipeneser stellatus, Acipenser gueldenstaedtii. The history of the introductions, the current situation in the Czech Republic and the impact on native ichthyofauna are listed (a more detailed evaluation of invasiveness is included for Carassius auratus, Pseudorasbora parva). Finally, the efforts to enrich the local ichthyofauna by introducing new species are generally evaluated.

Fishing ground and performance of fishing right The topic of the thesis is the fishing ground and performance of fishing right. The thesis describes and analyses the current legal regulation of these institutes, identifies its shortages, and tries to present de lege ferenda proposals. In the case of some institutes, it also offers a comparison with the legislation, which is in force in Slovakia. The thesis briefly summarises the historical development of the legal regulation of fisheries in the current territory of Czech Republic. It focuses on issues related to fishing grounds, such as the conditions for declaring, changing or withdrawal them, or the conditions for declaring a protected fishery area. For this purpose, it also pursues to the distinction between the different bodies of surface water envisaged by the legislation. Subsequently the thesis examines issues relating to the performance of the fishing right, it particular the conditions for its authorisation, amendment, or withdrawal, and also the regulation of the procedural practices of the authority of the state fisheries administration in authorising the performance of the fishing right. Legal Framework of Conditions for Game Hunting The aim of this rigorosum thesis is to describe and compare the legal regulation of game hunting conditions in the Czech Republic. It focuses especially on the legal regulation of the conditions for game hunting according to the Hunting Act and the legal regulation of the conditions for fishing according to the Fisheries Act. Generally, the thesis also analyses the common terms related to fishing and game hunting (eg. the terms fishing district or hunting ground). The attention is paid not only to the current legislation, but the work also covers the historical development of the legal regulation of conditions for game hunting and fishing. Hunting has been accompanying humans since time immemorial and its conditions have evolved over time as society has evolved. This thesis also deals with the rules of game hunting contained in the Act on the Protection of Animals against Cruelty and in the Act on the Protection of Nature and the Landscape. Both acts provide a general framework for the hunting of animals and fishes, which is further elaborated in the Hunting Act and in the Fisheries Act.
